CANTON, OK DEER/DUCK HUNTING PROPERTY

50+ acre gem just outside Canton, OK with abundant opportunity for taking several game species. The property is loaded with small game such as rabbit and squirrel, but also doves and waterfowl. Depending on weather conditions, you have the opportunity to hunt flooded sloughs for ducks (primarily mallards with occasional wood ducks and widgeon) or you can layout in the pasture for geese. There are plenty of opportunities also for deer with multiple set lock-on stands and a feeder on the property with opportunities for both archery and firearm seasons.

54-acre hunting tract located just below the Canton Lake dam in Canton, Oklahoma. If you don’t know much about Canton Lake, it is a 7,910-acre lake located directly in the heart of the central flyway and is a massive hub for migrating waterfowl. With not many other lakes around it, the various sloughs and oxbows hold tens of thousands of ducks every year.

Located in the northwest corner of Oklahoma, this farm features an abundance of wild game opportunities including deer, turkey, ducks, rabbit, and quail. Depending on weather conditions, you may have the opportunity to duck hunt a couple different flooded sloughs. Over the past few years, we have seen mallards, gadwall, widgeon, teal, wood ducks, and pintails flood in the sloughs in both the early mornings and late afternoons.

At the front of the property, there is a 15 +/- acre pasture suitable for “dry field” hunting in layouts. After this pasture, you will find two sloughs before running into the back acreage. This back acreage has rolling topography and is relatively thick with high grass and small trees, creating perfect habitat for wildlife. On the property, you will currently find a one-man ladder stand overlooking a gravity feeder, as well as a lock-on stand in the back acreage behind the second slough.
