Rock Enon Back Creek South:
A 91 acre section of a much larger 900 acre operating Scout camp located 30 minutes west of Winchester, VA. This portion of the property is a wonderful mix of sprawling hardwood forest and some conifer ridgelines. There is an abundance of deer, turkey, bear, and squirrels. The property can be quite steep but has good access up several draws. NOTE: Trees have been marked with PURPLE paint along the west boundary line with the adjacent neighbor to create a buffer zone between the two properties. Please do not cross into the buffer zone area.
Note:
Be advised, that this hunting tract is on an operating Scout camp. Exercise personal safety as well as the safe handling and use of firearms and weapons at all times.
All users MUST CHECK IN/OUT via TEXT message to 540-974-5666. Assistance is available at Garrabrandt Lodge located at 292 Rock Enon Springs Rd. (the second house on the right once on the gravel road) on most weekends.
Lodging Option: The camp also has a small rustic cabin for rent with bunk beds, wood burning stove, and electricity for a small fee. There is a shelter, established fire pit, and latrine adjacent to the cabin. The cabin is located in the main part of the camp property that may be available for rent by OA Members. There is no water source at this cabin, but water is available at Garrabrandt lodge. Suggested to bring your own padding and sleeping bag. Contact Camp Ranger if you are interested in booking the cabin.

Know your shot and that all projectiles, shot larger than #5’s and bullets will be positively trapped by the earth or other bullet trap device. 2. Do not hang targets on or shoot trees. 3. Bring your own targets. 4. All targets, spent casings and trash mush be removed. Leave it better than you found it. 5. Shooting hours are from 8am - 4pm during eastern standard time (EST), and 8am to 6pm during daylight savings time (DST). No shooting before 1pm on Sundays. 6. No one under the influence of, or using alcohol, narcotic drugs or any other intoxicant is allowed to handle or use firearms. 7. Fully automatic firearms, tracers and incendiary rounds are prohibited. 8. Shooters must wear eye and ear protection. 9. There is no established range on this listing. Select a site that will positively trap projectiles such as a hillside.
