The property is located only a short drive from Richmond, VA, and provides a great opportunity for waterfowl / big game hunting. On a recent site visit, an OA Team Member was able to snag a video (Click here for a link to the video) of 3 flights of ducks entering the property, though there may have been more! The property features a beaver pond that can be accessed on foot or by canoe or kayak. There are also plenty of places to set up deer hunts, from swamp bottomland to the field edge. If you're looking for a convenient hunting spot not far from Richmond, VA, this property is worth considering.

Note: There is one in-place stand (see map and photos.) There is poison ivy growing on the tree with the stand, please use it at your own risk.

Thoroughly research all laws and regulations pertaining to your intended use of the property before purchasing the lease. Make sure that the recreational activities you'd like to conduct there are allowed by law.
Follow applicable laws and regulations.
Gates are both latched locked and chained. You must return the gate exactly as you found it. If in doubt, take a photo of it, so that you remember. To release the latch, pull the gate toward the gate post and flip/pivot the latch. Then push the gate open. To close, simply push the gate across the latching threshold til the latch engages then rechain.
Conduct a map study prior to your reservation. For safety, all on your reservation/lease must familiarize themselves with the listing and the surrounding area.
No ground fires.
Do not block roads or trails when parking.
Campers must follow applicable Leave No Trace principles.
Clean up after yourself and leave only your footprints.
Everyone on the lease MUST BE a member of Outdoor Access in good standing or a minor child under the supervision of a member. No more than two minor children per member.
No subleasing or guiding allowed on the property. No Commercial Operations.
No substituting members. The same members will be part of the lease for the duration of the lease.
Land management activities take precedence over hunting and recreational activities. This is a license to hunt the property and only offers access to the land. Neither Outdoor Access nor the Landowner guarantee the condition of the property, or that land management activities such as forestry and agriculture WILL NOT occur during the license term.
Temporary stands only. No nails or spikes may be driven into trees.
No creating or cutting of new trails. Brush may be trimmed back along existing trails.
